Declaration of Faith
We accept the Bible as the sole revelation from God, and we conduct ourselves according to its faith, standards, and ordinances to guide our members.
We Believe:
God Inspired the Scriptures
The Scriptures are verbally inspired by God, and are God's revelation to man, the infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Tim. 3:15-17 - 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Pet. 1:21).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God (His Deity)
His Virgin Birth (Mt.1:23)
Sinless (Heb. 4:15)
Worked Miracles (Mt. 14:13-21)
He was crucified and rose from the dead (Lk. 23:33 - Lk. 24:1-6).
He is at the right hand of God the Father (Mark 16:19).
In the Practice of the Church's Ordinances
Water Baptism - by immersion, using the Trinitarian formula in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:19 - Mk. 1:9-10).
The Lord's Supper - a command to believers, a reminder of His sufferings and death and a prophecy of His second coming (Lk. 22:19-20 - 1 Cor. 11:23-26).
In God's Righteous Judgment
We believe in the resurrection for both the righteous and the unrighteous (John 5:28-29), and that there will be a final judgment where the dead sinners will be resurrected and judged according to their works. Anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life will be confined to suffer eternal punishment in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur (Matt. 25:46; Mark 9:43–48; Rev. 19:20; 20:11–15)
The Mission of the Church
The Church is the body of Christ where the Holy Spirit dwells. The purpose of the church is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20 - Eph. 1:22-23 - Eph. 2:22).
Divine Healing
Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness has been provided in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isa. 53:4-5 - Matt. 8:16-17 - James 5:14-16).
In One Triune God
One God who reveals himself in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4 - Isa. 43:10-13 - Matt. 28:19 - Luke 3:22 - John 14:16-17).
The Salvation of Mankind
This becomes evident when by faith we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, repent of our sins, and accept by faith God's forgiveness (Rom. 10:9-13).
Salvation develops based on these three steps:
A) Justification - Christ's sacrifice that made man's salvation possible, forgiving his sins. Justification is received when by faith we accept Him as our Savior (Rom. 5:1; Gal. 2:16; Gal. 3:24).
B) Regeneration - It is to have a new spiritual birth. The dead spirit of man (Old Nature) is filled by the Holy Spirit, and produces in the person a New Nature (Jn. 3:1-15 - Jas. 1:13 - Gal. 3:26 - Gal.4:5-6 - Rom. 8:15 - Acts 22:16).
C) Sanctification - It is the process of separating from sin to dedicate oneself to God (1 Thess. 5:23 - 1 Pet. 1:14-16).
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
All believers can receive and should seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire (Acts 1:4-5). This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth (Acts 8:12-17 - 10:44-46 - 11:14-16 - 15:7-9). The baptism in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit directs them (Acts 2:4 - 10:44-46 - 19:6).
The Resurrection of Those Who Have Died In Christ and The Rapture
The resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their rapture together with those who are alive at the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (1 Thess. 4:16-17 - Matt. 24:40-42 - Tit. 2:13 - 1 Cor. 15:51-52).
Biblical Marriage
Marriage is an institution created by God between one man and one woman, as established in the Scriptures in Gen. 1:27, Gen. 2:24. Therefore, we refrain from performing weddings that do not comply with this standard of God.
